Founded by a Cuban–Ecuadorian professional with strong cultural ties to both the United States and Ecuador, QualityMed Travel was inspired by firsthand knowledge of Cuenca and its healthcare environment. Over many years, family and friends living in the United States traveled to Cuenca and experienced the city's safety, calm lifestyle, and access to fast, efficient private healthcare — benefits that remain largely unknown to many people in the United States.
QualityMed Travel was created to bridge this gap. We serve as a medical travel facilitator, connecting patients with reputable hospitals and doctors while coordinating the non-medical aspects of their journey. Guided by an academic background that values research, structure, and attention to detail, we focus on your wellbeing and interests — so clients feel informed, confident, and supported every step of the way.
